Doesn't look like the indi will fit in there with that big plate. And if it does it will be a bit hidden by the can.
Stubby the can or get an undertray with built-in indi's ![]() |

Most of which are illegal due to the requirement for a certain minimum spacing of indicators...

have a ^ shaped bracket coming from the tail tidy to bottom of numberplate (behind out of sight) and mount the indies at the bottom left and right of the plate

Sorry to hijack the thread but does this mean indicators built in the rear light are illigal?

Most of them are not very bright and the colouration in certain light conditions can make the brake light and indicator look very similar. From the VOSA pdf Front indicator Amber 2 max Min height 350mm Max height 1200mm Min distance apart 240mm Rear indicator Amber 2 or 4 max Height as front Min distance apart 180mm Max 300mm from rear

On that logic indies on mirrors are illegal (over 1200mm high).
Also mine must be illegal as I've 4 front indicators, 2 on the mirrors and 2 side repeaters. As for the OP, EDIT: just seen the side view pic you posted. You'd be better off measureing it first cos yes, its going to be bloody close. Last edited by Owenski; 03-03-11 at 11:59 AM. |
