Default went shopping for new kit today

spent half the morning in motorad getting new kit for work, one word describes the BMW stuff-OUTSTANDING-new textiles and shoei helmet ordered, will be here tomorrow-if i ever get the big heave hoe from the mrs i'm heading there to spend my money on a new bike, build quality is second to none imoa.
Sales dude was telling us that they could stop selling every model of bike in the uk apart from the GS1200 and they would still survive-the s 1000 rr is the dogs ******** but it needs to be in yellow.

If it wasn't soo bloody expensive, I'd have BMW gear.
But a F650 GS not the GS12

I've got a pair of BMW boots, they were the only boots I could get to fit me properly. Not cheap at something like £270 and that was about 4 years ago now. Best boots I've ever owned

BMW boots - made by Daytona

BMW helmets - made by Schuberth

BMW clothing - made by a couple of companies, one of which is Rukka.

BMW prices - typically 50% more than equivalent stuff from the people who actually make BMW kit.

Yep it's good stuff but see below. I'd love an s1000r I was offered a day out on one a while back but my instructor said he had done his back in and didn't fancy pulling a bike out a hedge The GS1200s are a bit of fun though, I'd still rather have my SV...but they are a laugh.

Da man speaks sense (although there is the odd exception to the rule), a few people have asked why I sport a bmw helmet and the answer is because it was £100 cheaper than with the schuberth badge on it!
