Default portable security

Hi

Just ordered a zena alarmed disc lock ,now looking for a chain which I can use at home and carry around in topbox aswell to use @ work

Obviously weight is the problem

Just looking for a deterant , looking at spending up to £50

The top chains will be out of budget and too heavy to carry round

Any one recommend a portable option ?

Cheers Steve

Are you not able to leave the work chain round a lampost (or something similar) to avoid needing to carry it too and from work? And meaning your bike is secured down to something whilst at work.

I've got an abus disc lock, that would be enough to deter the opportunist thief I think.

I can't be bothered with chains, just not practical for me.

Cable lock? versatile, lightweight, visible deterrent and an ar5e to bolt crop.
**** disk locks (on their own) doesn't stop them chucking it in a van, needs to be secured the an immoveable object to be worth securing really.

Probable take them longer to break than oxford tat (which'll be atleast £30 more). Better if you can get a loop type that let you use your own lock but a quick google didn't turn up anything decent
