What would be the running symptoms of a worn float needle?
When the bikes running (with the airbox off) the front carb slide seems to bounce back and fourth (sort of vibrating) when revving the bike. There's also a hissing noise from the front carb when it's revved. There's also a little fuel spraying from the front needle when at idle. Both of these things don't happen on the back carb.? Bike runs fine, just curious as to what would cause this? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Out of interest why does it appear different from one carb to the other?

Maybe because front is laying down, not sure.

Slide chattering is normal for vacuum operated slide. Drilling holes in slides bigger is how some deal with it. Different spring is also option.
There is also period of time when both intake and exhaust valves are open. |
