Default Main Connector for Clock on wiring loom broken.

Just realised that my connector on the main wiring loom is broken so the clocks only work if I hold the cable in.

The leads and everything is fine but its just the connector I think that isn't working...

Can I buy just a connector?

Post a pic up mate, lets have a look at it.
It might be possible to repair or modify it to hold it in.

glue it or get new connectors of a different type and replace both male and female sides, something like

http://www.esr.co.uk/electronics/con...multi-wire.htm

assuming the female one isn't built in?

Yes but the plug on the clocks is built in and way way too much hassle to change it. Easier just to source a new connector for the wiring loom and swap the cables over as its got like a easy unlock feature on the back so you can pop the cables out. Worse comes to worse I have to buy a whole wiring loom off eBay to take the connector off.

It's easy. You just get a tiny flathead screwdriver and bend the pin on each cable end and they pull out.

Have you tried these guys? http://www.dataspares.com/

There's a dooberry on the back of those you need to flip up first.
Connector body is same on GSXRK1-3 so you can use those, pinout is different though so be careful.

Most likely is connector is fine but there's a bit of rot on one of the pins, you can clean them or nip the female bit slightly to get better contact.
