Attention! Massive diesel spill Old Street London.

ATTENTION ALL LONDON BIKERS AND THOSE PASSING !!!!

There's a huge diesel spill from Clerkenwell Road going towards Old Street roundabout and onto Old Street and then Hackney Road. Don't know how far it goes. When I say massive it looks like a tanker drove along with its outlet open. Traffic spread it over the entire Eastbound lane. Extremely slippery. Nearly went down at Old Street/Kingsland Road junction.

Be very, very cautious especially on the roundabout!!!
Won't see the spill if you're coming from the City Road direction until you're on it.

Look out for it boys and girls and keep 'em upright.

PS: Anyone know any number that can be called? Any authority that could deal with it?

thanks for thw warning, the local council should b in charge of clearing it up, but i doubt they will

Report it to the police, if it saves somone from having an accident then its a call well made and they have more clout with getting the council out to sort it than a member of the public.
