Hi all,
Following a crash i had yesterday, my front end and lower fairings on my 2010 SV650S are now wonky and broken in some places, this lead me to wondering just how easy/hard, cheap/expensive it was to do? I'm not exactly savvy when it comes to anything bike related, but i was wondering (apologies for the potential vauge-ness) What exactly would i need for a conversion from S to N?, Has anyone here done it before? Any rough estimates on cost? Cheers ![]() |

Depends on the damage, can't you just claim on the insurance for the repairs?

honestly I would keep it as an S. I know the repair will cost more but whenever you come to sell it whoever buys it will want to know why it is listed as an 'S'. You will then have to tell them its been crashed.

i'd be looking to claim if its a 2010, but it does depend on the damage. If you can get a photo up we'd be able to tell you better what damaged/ needs replaced

I would of claimed but i only have 3rd party
![]() also, i shall try and take some pictures tomorow, as i said it's the fairings mostly, a few other scratches here and there... but mostly cosmetic damage, the gear lever was missing but we sorted that so i could ride it home |

I reckon as long as your fairing bracket is straight enough, most of the panels can be plastic welded and then repainted. Or ebay for panels.

Hello,
I had an SV400S that had been converted to an N along the way, looked quite nice with clip-ons on. http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=126967 Rob |
