Before
![]() After ![]() ![]() ![]() Hope the pics work.. they dont usually when i do it, Beowulf oval stubby Can for £110 with link pipes etc, Should have been £155 but it had a pin-pr!ck bubble in the paint so it was classed as a 'second', they seem a good set of guys up there, i went to the workshop where their made with a guy from work, seems if you go in person you pick up the bargain jobbys. And on the 4th picture does it matter if i accidentilly cut a bit off the mesh bit (presume its a cat?) only just caught it with the grinder. Danny Last edited by cluffy; 25-02-11 at 04:13 PM. |

Doesnt matter that you caught the cat at all. Infact if you havent sealed the exhaust go back and take the thing out

Ah, wondered how long it'd be before the panda was spotted.. hard to miss i suppose, its my brothers next door neighbour, they got a 3ft ish x 4ft ish panda and a 4ft ish x 4ft ish tortoise thing.. strange people.. better than gnomes i suppose.
And hows the cat come out mr reeder.. give it a bit of a pull but didnt move so thought id leave it.. presume it would still be ok come mot day with no cat? |

Give it a really really hard pull I think is the way to do it
![]() There's no emissions test on a bike MOT so it would be fine ![]() |

you have to smash the cat out. word of warning: before attempting to do so remove the lambda sensor.
looking good though. |

Eyup there Mr Bibio, is it worth removing the cat or will it make no difference to anything either way?
Cheers |

depends. if you are the sort that likes to extract every last bhp then out it comes.
but if your happy just riding your bike then leave it in. very little to be gained taking it out. |
