Default What is the best product to clean and then protect electrical connections?

Is a little ACF50 followed by vaseline going to work as well as contact cleaner followed by dielectric grease?

Thanks.

It's not but all you're "cleaning" is scratching the corrosion off the surface, and the ACF will creep into the crimped bit behind the connector and protect that better than vaseline alone. Only needs a drop.

You can use contact cleaner or WD first if you want.

I use Contralube 770 on all the connectors of my bikes. Maplin sells it, or can be had from various eBay sellers.
