Default Goughie takes to 2 wheels

Cricketer and dodgy ballroom dancer Darren Gough has today passed his bike test - finally - it's taken him ages to do all the training and he's really chuffed. But he's going to get himself a Kawasaki Versys

I wonder if he'll get sequinned leathers?

So he now joins several other cricketers who like 2 wheels.

Brian Lara who I believe has an R1 over in Trinidad. I've been in a car with him and that was scary enough!

David 'Bumble' Lloyd who has a BMW K1300s.

Graeme Swann who has a licence but isn't allowed to ride while he has an England contract.

And England Team Director Andy Flower - who is the only one on the list who owns an SV - a K8 SV650 Sport - but he hardly ever gets time to ride it.

Well he's on air on Talksport until 7pm so I shall invite him to join us afterwards.

Bumble tried to find me in Frith Street on the Friday of the Test last year as he was going to a pub nearby. Unfortunatley I was so tired I had gone straight back to my hotel. But he said he saw all the bikes.

I'm sure we noticed him, after all, BMW owners smell of poo and wee...

Sensible choice for someone who isn't overly experienced. Got to give him credit for that
