Is it the same as the pointy 650?
I probably already know the answer, but thought I would ask. I'm hoping so as they are as rare as rocking horse poo

You already know the right answer I suspect - sorry I haven't any good news but a new one isn't so dear - a mere £200 or so, don't be tight.

On a more positive note and assuming that you haven't try searching for DL1000 Strom bits - same engine, just as rare though unfortunately.

different part number for both case and gasket
