Default Indicators - Legality.

I know the rule of if you have them then they must be funcitonal, I'm also aware that there are height requirements/limitations - but what I cant seem to determine for certain is if you've got a set fitted to the rear of a bike, must you also have a set fitted to the front?

Thanks in advance.
Matt

Is that for certain?
I dont mean to sound like a goof but do you have any legislation proving it, its just I can literally find post after counter post arguing the toss for hours on end but no one can provide a link or similar to enforce it.

You could have one each side you can see from fron and back but its likely to look like a pile of pants.
