Hi guys, I'll be installing a set of these soon, even though it'll be nice and warm again soon, but for those early morning commutes it's definitely still nice.
Anyway the doc supplied with the grips recommends soldering the positive wire inline with the starter relay so that the grips aren't always getting power even when the bike is off. My question is, has anyone done this and if they have, which part did they solder to? Thanks guys, Antony!! ![]() |

There's a guide for fitting Oxford hot grips on the org home page. That's got some good info about wiring up to a switched power feed. Linky below. Might help?
