Default Minitwinners at Silverstone

I know that minitwins don't really go to the Silverstone Arena circuit for the season, as i was looking to see what kind of lap times the racers run at, but couldn't find anything.

So have any of you racers or other minitwin track fanatics been to Silverstone Arena GP and had any timed laps at all? Just curious that it all.

Probably be lucky to get a response to this thread if i'm honest.

Silverstone national in 2010 (1.639 miles) was 1.04.5 down to 1.12 for 32nd place.

No idea, i did the Arena GP layout. I'm just curious to see how much faster the racers are... But i'm struggling to find any times for that circuit and layout.

Well even if you find out what a racer does around there on a track day you'll not get his race time. You only go as fast as you do in a race... in a race.

Gives an idea though. Someone doing 2.40's on a track day isn't suddenly going to drop it down by twenty seconds...

no, but I speak from experience, on that track day there were passes that I backed away from that I would certainly have made on a race day. Braking zones where I would have gone far deeper and corners were I would have been far more aggressive when it mattered. Its a track day so not worth the risk.

You were running well Binky but a race is a race, very different to simply running fast laps. I reckon another 5 or 10 seconds off those lap times would be achievable with practice and somebody to chase.

Yes, fairpoint. I've never raced so can't really say what overtakes i would have gone for otherwise. It's all subjective i know.

I timed a few of the fast group and a few of my own laps. I didn't get anyone elses though.

Did SV4me follow you for a full lap? If yes, you'll be able to get an idea of your laptime when he uploads his videos...
