Angry Newbie!

Hi all, Just joined the forum and would like to say hi. I'd like to say I'd be out on my bike all weekend, but was shunted off whilst waiting at a roundabout last week so my pride and joy is in the garage waiting for the insurance companies to sort it out. I've been left with a Kwak ER6n which I think is surprisingly quite good.
Looking forward to some idle chat and getting to low-down on all things SV.

'Summer's here at last'. I want my bike back.

Oh bad luck.

Welcome to the forum and hope that your bike is fixed soon. Ride safe and don't get too attached to Kwak, they may be nice, but they are no SV, well apart from that Kl thingie that was a rebranded V-Strom!

Hi, and welcome. Bad luck on being shunted. Hope you're not injured. What's the damage on the SV?

I had a Kwak ER6n as a loaner while my bike was being repaired once. I thought it was a fun about-town bike, but not as good as the SV for motorways and fast roads.

I was uninjured and managed to stay in my feet while the bike dumped on the floor. The damage is minimal; broken gear shift, a bit if fairing scratched (the crash bung did the job) the worst is that the exhaust was bent (its a Micron, Carbon Oval). Still, the insurance will sort it all out and the ER6 is a bit of fun for now. It could be worst, i could be injured, or even worst, without a bike!!

Welcome hope to see you around the Hampshire/ Surrey Borders at some point. Impressed that you managed to stay on your feet while crashing. That's a special talent
