My pc just upgraded explorer from 8 to 9. No big deal, but now all the fonts on web pages have gone blurry. The Explorer menu's are ok, nice and sharp as ever, but every web page looks like someone has sneezed on it then wiped it with their sleeve. All the font shrapness has gone.
WTF has it done? |

every web page or just some? It can be the result of the markup for a particular page depending on how it was written.
Do you have an example site that this happens with? |

So, use Opera for day to day and your email, Firefox for sites that dont work well in Opera, and if you use GoogleMail/Apps, fire up Chrome.
Only use Internet Exploder when the site you want to use will only work in it - ie Outlook Web Access... Its what I do ![]()

Dunno - just wanted to show off about being a multi-browser user
![]() I am guessing that Google write their apps to be most compatible with their own browser, although they are not stupid like Microsoft to write stuff that will only run on their own browser.

I think MS have moved on quite well from this position. Latest versions of Sharepoint and Office web apps work with all sorts of browsers quite well. Sharepoint was even demoed at Teched last year using Firefox.
