I'm looking to get some new boots and need some opinions. Budget is max £200 and I'd be happier spending less!
I commute daily in all weathers so they need to be waterproof. I'd like them to look good with leathers, textiles or jeans as I'll be wearing one of the three with them at some point. I have no idea where to start when it comes to boots so any help at all would be great! |

Sole is more like a normal boot, so comfortable for walking around all day and SHOULD be replaceable by an everyday cobbler. EDIT: Added a pic ![]()

I have the SMX4 and they are really comfy on the bike, wouldn't want to walk too far in them though. Always kept my feet dry although I try not to ride in the rain if I can help it. Seen them for around £160 I think

I also have TCX Gore-Tex boots and can't fault them, mine are an older Oxtar branded touring boot not a competizione, but it's the same quality of stuff.

At the higher end of your budget I know but Daytona's are amazing...

Altbergs, and get them fitted exactly to your size.

Another vote for TCX competizione gore tex. Always had SIDI's previously, but these are much better and comfy.
