Default Valve clearance check?

Hi everyone... next wednesday in heading down to guernsey with the maud on the back. and im wanting to check my Tappets and do an oil n fliter change.

Now the tappets on the front seem to be slightly louder recently so thats my reason for a check up.
What are the tolerances and is there anything i shall need to do?
( i know to check/adjust when cold ect.)

thanks

Intake 0.1-0.2
Exhaust 0.2-0.3mm

Fairly straightforward, easier with radiator and fairing removed.

Drop the coolant, it does make it easier though you don't have to. If you don't want to then you can remove the horn to let you swing radiator forwards.

See im asking because i just recently put new coolant in because i got a belter of a hole in the rad a month or 2 ago and thanks to some HOLTS rad weld that cured the problem lol.

So the horn is going to be removed.

Just unbolt the rad and horn and the hoses will let the rad drop way below the valve cover. I did mine last weekend.

Having a radiator 'repaired' with gunk would worry me much more than tappet clearances if I was doing a long trip...
