Default help with restrictor kit

hi,
i currently have a sv650 s 2k6 with a 33bhp restrictor kit on , does anyone know how much power im losing out on?? im gettin good mpg with it in but its almost time to take it out an wondering if its worth it .

Expect about twice the power and it will happily pull beyond 8.5K!

Mine is restricted and when we swap the ecu over for the wife to ride, it is a different machine!

Only eleven months to go and I get swap the ecu over for me too!

How much longer you got to go on the restriction?, not worth taking it out imo though. It will make a nice surprise when you can legally take it out

only a couple of months but was wondering cos im getting around 60 mpg at the mo an it will hit around 100mph on restrictor whether it was worth pulling it out. twice the power?? can wait now for it! haha

Mine came out after 2 weeks of fitting it. I hate the feel of the bike with it in, having to change gear so much more often as nothing happens after 6000rpm.

You will love the bike so much more with it out, all the power is where the restriction kicks in.

dont forget it will be even louder with it out if you have an aftermarket exhaust on it as youre getting the full bangin the cylinder lol
