Default Smelling issues

OK this is a weird one ......... I went to a job last night which involved me staying in a confined space with a really gut wrenching smell and I was there for 3 hours plus.

I dont want to go into details but is there anything that I can carry around in my kit bag on the market that I can put under my nose to help me stomach disguisting smells to stop me heaving.

Silly I know, someone told me to try Vicks Vabour Rub but I figured that would open up my nasal passage and make the smell seem worse.

See told you it was stupid.

Vaseline across the nostrils. Think my wife has done it before - possibly on jobs similar to yours

Prevention is better than cure Shell, cut down your intake of raisens, guinness and curry...

DO NOT TRY VICKS VAPO RUB!! It does indeed open the passages....

To be honest, nothing I have tried works. It's hard not to spew sometimes!

I assume a Clothes peg would be a little indiscreet, so try Vaseline I used it in a former life once while I was installing phones in an OAP home, downside is that you will look like you have a snotty nose.

yes but carry a disposable dust mask and rub it on the front and you will probably find that helps, I know of a mortuary tech that does it..
