Which insurances will email you the cover note? I can pick my bike up within the first few days of June providing i can find a company that will do so.
I need the insurance in order to tax the bike. |

Im aware bennetts wont, i asked them when i first insured my sv, and they would only post it. They love taking your money, but not letting you out on the roads!

They might be able to do it now. Previously you had to be issued with a hard copy by law but since April last year it's OK to e-mail them.
It was a case of the law catching up with technology. |

Ive actually only just got off the phone with Bennetts now, and they actually seemed happy to send it me via email, a nice surprise!
Payed already, cover to start 1st of June, which means the SV needs to go! |

ebike, you don't get a cover note, but print the insurance certificate directly from the site. Plus I have money off vouchers for these buggers that I have never got the use of, so if you want let me know and I will try and find them
![]() Printed version will be accepted at the post office for tax purposes ![]() |

Never really understand the point of this.
As long as your insured (the most important thing) if you picking it up at the start of the month what difference does it make if its taxed straight away? I'd be picking it up and riding it while waiting for the paper work to come through, as long as you tax it in the same month as you buy it, it makes no difference as the tax disk would start from the 1st any way. tax it on the 2nd or the 22nd either way your tax would still run out on the same date, you aint gained anything. |
