Bike Fixed... :0)
Finally got the Rectifier from ebay... won and paid on the 26 April, they sent it on the 27th... due to double bank holiday and the post man being fecking blind and not reading my address correctly it was returned to sender on the 11th May. I got in contact on the 12th asking "Where is my item please ?" to which the reply was "You don't live at your address!!!"
Yes I do, please can you resend it out to the same address.. so today I got it, soldered it into place, tested it and now have a bike that produces 13.9V DC at tickover and 12.8V DV at 4K RPM :0) Happy days... Unfortunately, I'm off to my mates wedding this weekend and taking stuff that can't be carried on the bike... :0( one day Soon I'll straddle my steed once more... :0) Last edited by Richie; 19-05-11 at 09:08 PM. |
