I'm going to Silverstone...
.... this weekend..woohoo
 Never been before, need some advice. Is there anywhere to leave helmet/jacket or do I have to cart them round all day? From those that have been before, any tips re vantage points and anything else you can think off. Tia Tj.... can't wait. |

I found silverstone lacking in vantange points cos its so flat! but for me it would have to be Abbey. |

The other half wants to go. I think I'll gauge the weather nearer the time. As far as I know you have to cart everything round with you.

Think you will find the normal "Storage Bus" in the main motorcycle parking are, leave the bike clothing in safe storage there BUT take a pair of trainers and lightweight waterproofs just in case.

According to Silverstone website there is a free helmet and leathers storage facility.
I only had general admission ticket last year so sat on the only grassyish bank I could find which was on the inside of the Hangar Straight. Got roving grandstand ticket this time so going early for a seat in the Arena section probably. Last edited by MR UKI (1); 09-06-11 at 05:36 PM. |
