Just wondered if anyone has any experience of leather upholstery repair in the South London area? Other half has acquired a rip in one of her car seats and is not happy with me. Have found a few mobile services online but obviously don't want to use one that makes a dogs dinner of it. Any feedback gratefully received.

Yes. A mate has just had his done. I will get the number form him this evening and PM you. My mate is a bit of a tart when it comes to his car so he seeks out the best, if not the cheapest.

Find a car trimmer and have them remove the cover from seat and sew a false seam in to hide the split. Do the same on the other seat to match them up. It's the normal way of repairing where splits or cuts have happened.
