Hey folks,
I own a 2001 S, currently equipped with a K&N Filter and a LeoVince SBK 2 slip-on exhaust. Some weeks ago I tried to be clever and cut the intake diameter of the K&N Filter open to approx 3x the original size. I expected some effect, but not that it would feel like 34hp and would only rev to approx 7500 (200m above sea level) or 7000 (1000m above sea level). So I used some tape to reduce the intake to approx the original size, worked well again. Just ordered pointy cams to mod my engine the next time I check my valve clearance ![]() Is anyone riding a similar combination and able to tell me about his jetting, needle, needle-position etc? I'm gonna do some research, but since English isn't my first language, some hints might be useful Thanks guys! |

155 ish on mikuni sizes I would guess (dynojet would be bigger number). Stock needle and position to start. Check pilot is 17.5, USA models get 15 pilot, not sure about others.
