Unhappy M&P burns down

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-s...wales-13918649

Quote:
Firefighters have spent the night tackling a major fire at a motorcycle parts and accessories firm in Swansea. They were called to M&P Motorcycles in Gorseinon shortly before 2330 BST on Saturday.

(local resident)
Mr Davies said the building was normally "like a pilgrimage" for motorcyclists, and some were turning up on Sunday morning, unaware of the fire.
Hope they're not too badly damaged, but the article's picture doesn't look good.

That just makes it worse. Awful news. I know I'm not alone in saying they're the first place I go to look for new bike parts.

EDIT: Website is offline too

To be honest, they turned me over a couple of times so I'm not shedding any tears for them.

Talking to a bloke here on the rig who lives on Barry Island, he recalls M&P having burned down at least twice in the last 18 years before this...

Fire Officer Steve Bryant said that the fire developed quickly and crews worked to protect nearby buildings, including an adjacent furniture company.

The fire at M&P Motorcycles was within close proximity of the old Mettoys factory in Fforestfach, where a serious tyre blaze has been burning since 16 June.

+1

Whilst I am thinking there's a certain amount of Karma here, it's going to make pursuing my claim against them more difficult now the goods they should have sold me have probably turned to ashes by now.
