Hanging up my Leathers..

for a bit...(again)

The ST2 goes to its new owner tomorrow (all being well) and I am hanging up my gear for an undetermined amount of time..

I bought the bike in November and have done a shameful 600 miles on it, as my hands just cant take a sports orientated bike however much I modified it and as such all plans for touring to France and to Italy fell by the way side.

A nice send off was had last night at Aldeburgh where chips and fish were eaten by Cat and I with much delight, and the bike, of course was flawless, but I just haven't bonded with it.

I still love bikes but other things are going to get in the way for the next year or so, I have an extension to concentrate on and apparently the bank manager likes it when there is money in the bank... (who knew?) so bikes just don't fit in my life right now.

I will be back and I will have another Tuono, be it 6 months a year I dunno, whenever I need to scratch the itch.

Sorry I never made it on any ride outs, I wish you all safe riding around the EAR roads where all they seem to do at the moment is chip them so its like riding on ice. Ill be around here, making inane comments on posts just so I don't drift too far.

Stay Shiny side up and ill see you on the other side.

thanks guys... new guy rode away on her today.. never had a ducati before or a Vtwin... should be a sharp learning curve for him lol.. still glad the moneys back in the bank..

For not having a bike. It's upsetting and therefore he is a loser. He must get another as soon as possible!
