Default Vfr800fi

Right then now looking at these bikes. I have always loved the Honda V4 but always wished they were slightly more sporty (like if they made a V4 600 id be there!). But anyway im wanting a do it all bike, that is comfortable. My falco is a great bike but its not comfortable or the best commuter (heavy clutch and big V-twin). The Falco im planning on using as a track bike and a VFR as everything else. some of you might remember me mentioning a sprint st 1050 but its more money and I cant imagine a great deal more capable.

So what do people think to the VFR800Fi (none vtec, need those gear driven cams and none of that none sense).

Very nice imo. Not as nice as the vtec to look at and it seemed a bit soft when i bounced around on one

This

Had a few goes on my bosses one at my old work, was really nice to ride, even with 44k on the clock and loads of wiring going under the tank and towards the bars which stopped you from being able to turn the bars onto right full lock

Only prob I've ever witness was datatool related. 2 hours of swearing to get the bike running

When I do know if I need another bike, I'll be ideally looking for a shaftie anyway, and something comfotable with a big screen and fairing, and with hard luggage included in the sale. I think a Deauville or a BMW will be the most likely candidates, but I'd look for something like a VFR or a Sprint ST 955 at the right money.

Ah shame. Im really against the whole Vtec tbh. Any I want the gear driven cams... heh.

Hmmm suspension on a VFR800i, wonder what it will need to make it nice. Seen an 11k mile 02 for £3k. Just what I want really.

Good luck with the sale Lucky!!!!
