Default M.O.T due...where's best in central region

Popped in to local guy, JK, down Springkerse Stirling..he charges £30 for mot...is that quite good?
This is the first bike in 12 years i've had to mot..so I'm not so sure about these things any more..
Only areas I really know at the mo is Stirling, Grangemouth & Falkirk.

I took mine to Pheonix Honda in Grangemouth and they took £15 for an MOT.

Last time i mot'd a bike, it was £9..

Do you need to book it in with them? or can you just pop in and leave it with them..still trying to get used to how all you mainlanders do things! Too used to island life!

if you fancy a wee run out on the bike then MotaTest in Cupar is highly recommended. No need to book just turn up.

They are not a garage so not looking to find fault and charge silly money to fix it. also they are very good with things like smaller than regulation number plates and nopisy exhausts. I was told that "as long as the plate doesn't have silly styled lettering and looks normal and the exhaust is not offencively (sp) loud"
