Should removing the baffle from my exhaust cause any excess vibrations?
Reason I ask is that I went out for about 50 miles today and when I got back two of the bolts to my tail-tidy were missing, and the little black lugs which the bolts were fixed into had come loose from the frame (luckily both of them were still on the bike - although one was just pinched between the mounting plate and undertray). Shouldn't be too hard to find replacement bolts and out it back together with some locktite, but if it's going to keep happening I'll just have to put the baffle back in. (The tail-tidy has done two trips to scotland, the AR, and was still fitted properly when I got back, only thing I can think of that I've changed in the baffle). |
