Idle Banter For non SV and non bike related chat (and the odd bit of humour - but if any post isn't suitable it'll get deleted real quick).![]() |

Can't really comment on the info inside that article other than that it's very sad. The link doesn't really say what happened at all or put any blame towards the ambulance drivers or anyone else (unusual for the daily mail, someone usually needs witch hunting).
Bit pedantic but unless you have more information the thread title's a bit misleading/incorrect as things stand.

In what way? He was found unconscious but breathing, ambulance was flagged but didn't stop - hit the biker and now he's no longer with us. So in short, ambulance runs over biker and he's killed.
It's incredibly sad but I have no control over the articles content and haven't found it published elsewhere. More info would be good, I agree. |

Nope - not looking to blame anyone. Just think it's incredibly sad and newsworthy.
It's a very contradictory article. This one has more info: http://www.thisiswiltshire.co.uk/new..._Calne/?ref=mr Ambulance travelling with blues on, no sirens and not at speed. |

If the biker was in the road, and the passers by felt that they should not be moving him to safety, they ought to have used their car to protect him from oncoming traffic, headlights , hazards etc.
However, good on them for stopping, not everybody would. |
