because they are public links and you don't need an account to view only if you want to tag someone, added to that they have a nice bulk loader which is easy to use if you have more than 5 photos to upload
![]() no one forcing you to view them anyway is there or just open an account look at the pictures steal what you want and delete it simple ?

I use photobucket as well but as Rictus said, FB is so bloody easy to upload a lot of pics.
Personally I can't see what the problem is if it's a public link. |

I use FB & Picasa.
Picasa is free if you have a gmail account & gives you nearly 2gb space ![]()

Photobucket lets you put a load up easily, they used to restrict you to five at a time but now you can upload whole directories (and then go make a cup of tea, mow the lawn, change the engine on the bike, come back, still not done) if you want. Whether or not incompetent family members who want to see the pictures will be able to understand Photobucket as opposed to the nice and friendly Arsebook interface is another thing entirely.

Pleased to say that I have never seen a use for face book despite the wife and kids using it. I just shove my photos on one of my web servers if I want to publish them to the net.

As long as the album is public what's the issue you dont need an account to view it its just like a photo bucket album ?
The good thing about face book is 99.9% of friends and family have it so this enables you to bulid a photo collection that you can instantly share with friends and family. Then if you do want to share a certain set of photos you can make it public for people that dont have face book.

Start a poll!!!
Prefer photobucket. **** book took about 11 hours to upload 130 photos. The bucket of photo's 3 hours
