Front fairing storage space? - SV650.org

Ive had the front fairing wipped off that many times ive thought about modifiying it for storage space. The obvious area to modifiy would be the underside infill with the 'fake' air intakes as there is a heck of a lot of space down below the back of the fairing in that area. Ive thought about making a new infill with a front lock and the back of the infill hinges on the fairing in some way on either side. That way, when you it open the sv will look like it has a mouth and you can store stuff in it. The other idea was to allow the front fairing to be tipped forward so it would rest on the front hugger and you can put stuff in it eg. waterproofs.

The other issue i would be aware of would be the weight distribution at the front causing issues but recommendation of storing light stuff that won't move about may prevent that affecting it too much.

K3 Job c.v: Engine:remove/split/rebuild/refit. Replace:Gearbox,Fuel pump,Gaskets. Piston clean,rings. Overhaul:Throttle body,Injectors,Brakes,Forks.
