Default Any pay weekly catalogues that sell bike clothing?

Years and years ago I remember buying some leathers and gloves off either Littlewoods or Freemans catalogues and paying them off for a few quid a week. Now I'm looking to some winter riding gear but holidays and car insurance have skinted me so I fancy paying on the never never again but it looks like both of those companies have stopped selling biker gear.

Does anyone know of any other catalogues I could sign up for that do boots/textile jackets/trousers?

I think it's a bad idea, why pay twice? For probably same price as deposit or whatever you could buy some reasonable secondhand stuff on here or eBay and save for the fancy kit.

I've bought a couple of sets of oxtar boots which are excellent for £40. First set lasted over 60k. You've got a car so where's the immediacy?

Better to get a 0% credit card, buy your new kit at discounted prices, rather than paying full price through Freemans or other mail order.

Once you've bought the kit, cut up the card and set up a direct debit to pay the card off in monthly installments.

I was going to ask about other options, I know catalogues are expensive it just felt like an easy option. The 0% credit card is a good option, that way I can shop around.

Doesn't sound like you're from Yorkshire but I hear Rufforth is pretty good for kit too

I meant the OP actually but yeah there seems to be some good bargains to be had on luggage, seems a lot of poofters change it to match their bikes or something.

@OP the quality of bike kit offered in mainstream catalogues is probably going to be pretty crap. But come to think of it I'm sure I saw maybe hein gericke or get geared offering some sort of credit jobby on their kit.

Demon tweeks do offer a monthly scheme, you can adjust the amount of deposit you pay and the time period to pay it over. Maybe worth a look at their gear
