Default Reputable Garages In Edinburgh

Morning folks

Can anyone tell me of reputable garages in the Edinburgh area that will do a full service?

Thanks

I can't say Saltire have ever done anything wrong when I've used them but they often do a free general bike health check when you are in. I have found their recommendations to be a little alarmist sometimes, particularly if you are not the (tight fisted) type who is willing to get your paws mucky instead of just accepting what they say, for example - your rear brake sensor needs replacing... Well, actually no, it needs a sponge to clean some caked crud off and a squirt of wd40 (see Bibios good advice). That said, most places do similar to a greater or lesser degree and credit to saltire for offering the service in the first place. You may just want to take a small pinch of salt with you.

Oh and other places (wilsons) have dropped me bike and dented the exhaust and (two wheels) neglected to do up the rear axle adjusters... So, er, in short,
yeah go with Saltire!

I have used Saltire, Two Wheels and Carrick in Edinburgh.

email them all on their website for a quote, they all get back to you, I have found that whatever you need done may be cheaper from a non Suzuki garage ... they all have a decent standard of work!

There is also a guy on Gumtree Edinburgh advertising for work in the Motorbike and Scooter section, can comment that chap though never dealt with.

Guy from Gumtree:

I would just email them all for quotations

Steph.

saltire failed to replace the screw holding the brake pipe clip for the rear brake flexi hose to the swing arm when they did my 4500 mile service, but other than that they were fine...had to replace bolt when i got home..
I now use Bob scott in glenrothes.
