So today at work a lady driving down the street stopped, poked her head out of the window to ask if I was indeed the lass who owned the bike parked up. She'd thought she'd seen me getting on it the other day (and she wasn't wrong ). She then said she just had to tell me a story, that I would find funny...

Basically her husband used to have a yellow bike too (it began with a B and I think ended in "en", but I can't remember, it was a weird name, someone can guess it), but he had to sell it. A couple came to look at it and he was going through the selling rigmarole. At the end of the conversation the lady of the couple said she'd take it, and apparently the chap selling it was beside himself, that the bike was going to a bl00dy woman! So this lady thought she'd let me know...wonder if she's ever seen another lass on a bike since then
