Default Fitting Oxford Nano indicators.

Hi guys

Right so I bought myself some nice Oxford indicators (eyeshot nano LED) and went to fit them last night, the wiring won't be an issue however I can't seem to mount them. I'm trying to get them on the front and the standard holders don't help.

Have any of you fitted them before and how did you go about doing it?

Look forward to your insight!!

George

P.S I finally got my lowers fitted

Yeah they are a perfect fit. I used them for non-led mini arrows on the front of mine - easy job but if you got LEDs you may need a relay like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LED-indica...#ht_2061wt_819
otherwise the flash rate will be too fast.

I think (from looking at the indicators and seeing the instructions) that the resistor is included in the factory wiring to ensure the flash rate is correct.

Hopefully this is the case

Nope, the standard bulbs and relay are matched so that when a bulb fails the remaining indicator on that side (and the dash light) flash faster as a warning.

Reduceing the load by fitting LED's has the same effect and makes them flash at warp speed, fitting resistors is the bodge way of doing it because although it does work the resistors get very hot.

This maybe the case, but the Oxford Nano's are properly designed and the resistor is not a bodge job as I've seen on other Chinese Ebay LED indicators.

How do I know, because that's what I fitted to mine.

Anyhow, are indicators on for long enough for the resistor to get very hot?
