Resulted in this:
![]() But I somehow stayed upright and stopped. Some daft woman pulled out of a side turning right into my path without looking this morning. I braked hard, hit the horn and swerved round the front of her but just didn't quite make it because I was in danger of hitting oncoming cars. The left pannier of my FJR1300 winter/work hack smashed into her bumper and got ripped off taking a largeish chunk of bodywork with it and leaving the left silencer with a big dent. How I stayed on and got the bike under control is anyone's guess, but I'll tell you now, having your FJR1300 going sideways down the road and then flicking the other way and doing the same is a brilliant way to wake up at 8-15am. No damage to me, just the bike and car and both were driven away from the scene, so all's well in the world. I have bought a lottery ticket too ![]() |

Bloody right she's paying for repairs, I need the panniers and she caused one to be ripped off and unuseable.

Good to see you're OK, the bike isn't important it can be fixed a lot easier than you can.
