Carb drain or Stabil?

I'm not sure what is the best thing to do. Drain the Carbs by disconnecting the fuel lines and running it dry or putting some fuel stabilizer in the tank and running that through the Carbs.

I will be back on the bike as soon as the ice has gone so probably early Feb.

Exposure to the air degrades fuel. Fuel kept in a sealed container will last years. Hold your bike upright and top it right to the brim with fuel. Close your fuel tap and drain your carb bowls. So long as everything else is still good (battery, etc), open your fuel tap in February and it'll fire first time.

I've used Stabil but only in bikes that were off the road for an indefinite about of time, but you don't need fuel stabiliser between now and February.

BTW, does the curvy not have a drain screw on the carbs?

They do but apparently it's a right PITA to get to plus the Curvy doesn't have a fuel tap so I can't stop the fuel flow unless I pull the fuel lines from the Carbs or Tank, not sure which end is best if it makes any difference.

Needs someone that knows the curvy then.

You don't need stabiliser for a couple of months.

Easiest way to stop flow is to remove vacuum line to tap then run it until it dies. (block line to carb or it will pop and fart a lot)
