Default I need more garage space

Help

What to do. I cannot fit everything in my tool boxes and cupboards and the wife is nagging about clean ups.

It isn't totally my fault, My garage also contains a freezer, dryer and fridge(with my beer in). Together with a feck off great gas BBQ, grandkids bikes etc. Oh and my cross trainer.

How do I get more space and keep everyone happy?

Move? Divorce?

Shed/Lean to on the back of the garage for the BBQ - done properly you could use it as a shelter while using said BBQ.

I suspect the best place to relocate the cross-trainer would be eBay.

Gotta build a shed in my back garden too. I keep looking at that bbq, chairs, table etc. and asking them "wtf are you doing in here?!? I don't need you until the summer". Relegation to a shed makes sense to me. Go for that mate.

Why, I got some room when my engine lift moved into DavePreston's kitchen. I wouldn't want to move my toolboxes into the kitchen, too far to walk to get stuff when working in the garage.

To gain some temporary space I did move the dryer on top of the fridge. But it had to come down next time her indoors wanted to use it.

At the back of the garage I have a "gazebo" as in tiled roof/decked floor, 12ft*10ft. I keep thinking of building up walls and turning this into a shed. I could move cross trainer in there and the overflow freezer. But it is impractical for the dryer and beer fridge. (unless I then moved in a telly/armchair and myself). Now theres an idea.

We do have a garden shed. but that is full as it is tiny, contains lawn mowers, shelves of gardening stuff, spades/shovels, cushions for garden furniture. A bigger one would have been more use but more unsightly.

Easy. Good beer should be enjoyed at cellar temperature. Only crap beer needs to be really chilled. So drink better beer and you can get rid of the fridge. Accept that you're old and fat and throw out the cross trainer. If you do want to lose weight then get rid of the freezer, cos you don't need that much food around.

Sorted.

I need a garage full stop.

In answer to your question, divorce seems BIT DRASTIC. Just ask her to move out instead
