Much cheaper option is to:
- Strip and clean them - Replace all the seals and pistions as required (do all the seals if they need it) - Change the pads for something with an HH compound (GG is good if you do a lot of commuting) - Change the rubber OEM hoses for quality aftermarket braided lines (Goodridge, Hel etc..) To swap calipers its a full front end change. Suzuki calipers are good but are a git for hoovering up all the crap that lays before them. I clean mine every 6 months and service them when they've seized on from lack of use

They're plenty good enough if they're working properly.
Nothing else bolts straight on, adaptors would be needed and to put it mildly they have a chequered record of fitment.

The only caliper that I know for sure bolts straight on is the one from a GPZ500 (since I fitted an SV caliper to my GPZ!) but that would be a considerable backward step! |
