Default RAM Mount help pls

This ebay auction is for a Garmin RAM mount kit, but I have a TomTom Rider v3.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/110679670509

The square plate that bolts into the back of the TomTom Mount or the Garmin mount looks the same, but I don't want to buy this to then find out it's a slightly different size or the holes are in a different place.

I don't know if RAM just make one plate of this type and TomTom and Garmin make the mounts to fit the plate, or whether RAM make two different plates, one for TomTom, different one for Garmin.
