Default Parking Ticket

So I got this PCN in December and challenged it. It's for being parked outside a marked bay and they've rejected me on the grounds of being an inconvenience to other motorists blah blah blah.

Now on the one hand I wasn't in a bay. Fair do's. However it was Christmas and I could've put it in a car space but that hardly seems the most considerate thing to do. So do you think I should shut up and pay the £25 or should I challenge it back again?

Thanks!

Is the PCN issued by a private company or the Council?

Council car parks are often managed by private companies, we've yet to pay a private ticket, if that's what you've got pm me for details.

Presumably the OP paid, the ticket was for parking outside of a bay

It's definately council looking at the appeal letter I got today.

It is only 10p to park but it's not that I didn't buy a ticket, even if I had I'd still have been parked outside a bay.

Sorry can't help you then, still worth stringing the pedantic t*****s along for as long as possible though, I'd appeal again.

I can't see for sure from the picture but maybe you WERE causing an obstruction? What about buggies and wheelchairs getting safely past on that bit of pavement?
