Answers is that there is NO correct H.I.D lighting rig for a curvy.

All aftermarket H.I.D kit is illegal, so therefore all are incorrect.

The correct H.I.D Kit would have a Suzuki Part Number and include self-cleaning and auto-levelling.

Fit some Nightbreakers instead.

Now Mr Kiss, thats no way to talk to the man, even if you are correct. It is illegal to retro fit HID kits in any vehicle that is not designed for it. Then again, its illegal to fit a non EU marked exhaust and small number plate and wear a dark visor...

However, if you have a UK spec bike then you will need H4 bulbs. If you can find a kit with slim or digital balasts, it would help. You also need a hi/lo kit so that you get main beam as well as , erm, dipped (See below)

I resisted for years about going the HID route. I fitted a set a couple of years back. Yes they are far superior to any bulb on the market but the glare is awful and no matter how far you drop the lens, it still is pretty glary which im now aware of. I will porbably go back to normal bulbs at MOT time and not bother refitting them.

Great if you do a lot of country lane stuff at night though.

A loud can and a small plate will not, however, blind me if badly fitted/sdjusted.

Case rested.

I guess my tone, as commented on by the V-Man is that I find the majority of people who fit H.I.D. and dont care about other road users to be be selfish barstewards.

The pointy twin headlights have loads of light with good bulbs but they have big reflectors and lenses and a huge light pattern with loads of light spill. It's takes carefull setting up to keep them on the right side of the road and I would think they would be awful dazzling with HIDS. I was going to HID and then decided not to when I saw the light spread you get when properly set up. Got an Eastern Beaver Dual H4 relay loom coming instead.

Do yourself a favour Joe and don't bother with HiD on the curvy. They simply don't work well (speaking from frustration and experience). Fit a good set of Osram Nightbreakers or similar and make do.

If you do a lot of back road use at night and need a good high beam, fit some Vision X LED's from these guys http://www.adventure-spec.com/defaul...tice-solo.html

Not cheap, but very bright, good spread of light, low current draw and near indistructable. I love mine

Hope this helps.

Regards

Rich
