Default Bolts, cheese and sizes.

It would appear the bolts on my SV are made of cheese. I've trawled the archives and have found the part number for one of the bolts, the one that hold the tank down near the head. However, I'm trying to find a replacement for one of the screws/bolts that hold the OEM rear hugger on.

It would be easier to find Giselles phone number I think!!!

Sorry, moan over.

Go on Ebay and treat yourself and bike to an assorted bag of Stainless bolts - the button head and flanged button head version always look nice!

Worth remembering that Jap screws are JIS which is Japanese Industrial Standard and it's not the same as a Phillips or Posi Drive, This is the main reason they get churned up as Phillips or Posi Drive screwdrivers dont fit them properly.

So its worth either using a screwdriver from a jap bike toolkit or treating yourself to a set of JIS screwdrivers if you do a lot of your own spannering. .

Here you go, check out these shiny bolts! The titanium ones won't be made from cheese!
