I had the same restrictor kit as you mate once you have taken your washers out, if you look to were your throttle cables go to on your throttle bodies.
there is a cam like object were the cables are if you look near there you will see a different coloured triangular piece of metal says alpha onit youve gotta remove that mate. you can try and do it in the bike but its hard as F*** i took the throttle bodies of because when the mechanics fit em they loctite them in. take the throttle bodies out put them on their side on the floor and you will see theres 1 screw holding the metal plate there its a posidrive get your screwdriver onit and turn it while your turning it tap (gently) with a hammer. this is why i took them out the bike. put your throttle bodies back in and bobs your aunty |

And if you do it while on the bike, do you get from under the air filter box or through the side of the bike?

I did one a while back and found that we had to remove the throttle bodies, once off though it was a doddle to sort out. Then just bolt them back on and go for an unrestricted ride and feel your bike breath a big deep breath!

yes you can see it through the side and i thought the same as you did I had a long screwdriver through the frame however i just kept rounding the head on the screw so i just ended up taking out the throttle bodies its loads easier to do. on the image attached I have put a red ring were the triangular plate is located. The only purpose it serves is to stop you twisting the throttle all the way around not that you should anyway

I need to get the bike out and look, it's parked up and can't see the left side!
Got them washers out that's why I'd rather do it while it's still in the bike and not lift the tank! Do I remove screw remove stop and put the screw back in? |
