Really want one for the kitchen.
Must have good sound, remote control, look good, be black. My favs so far are: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bose%C2%AE-S...5&sr=8-1-spell http://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-SC...d_rhf_dp_p_t_2 Both get mixed reviews though...but do sound really nice. Maximum to spend £190, must be available from amazon. |

Another vote for the Bose here too.
Very smart, good volume and quality. Pete ![]() |

Bose for us too, don't know of a better one tbh.
Simple and quality. We did get the portable one which has a rechargeable battery and took it on holiday when we hired a villa and pool to ourselves it was ace ![]() |

If you can stretch to it one of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Zeppelin-iph...7778355&sr=1-2
I had a play with one in selfridges and it sounded awesome and looks proper cool ![]() |

Why don't you take your iPod to the Apple store/HMV/Comet and other retailers, plug it in and have a listen to a few of the docks that are avaliable, listen to the same song on each unit and go from there, that should give you some ideas about what to go for. I wouldn't make a decision on reviews alone, what's good for you isn't necessarily good for anyone else.

I think half the people on amazon posting negatively about the Bose are probably not right in the head tbh.
Every single person I've ever read about or spoken to about them says the sound is amazing. iPods and iPhones can have a tendency to go a bit Pete tong on the connection bit at the bottom, I've had a charger do this, works on other phone, just temperamental I guess. Take amazon reviews with a pinch of salt btw, i purchased a dualit coffee machine based on them and what a pile of sh1te that was. |

Have listened to both the Bose and the Panasonic ones and the Bose marginally edges it, but Panasonic has greater functionality...which I'm not sure i'd use anyway?
