Default When fitting cartridges to curvy forks?

...do you need to modify the bottom ends of the fork tubes in any way? Yorkie?

Depends how you are going to approach top out spring.

Basically you take shuttle valve out so cartridge will fit.

so if I understand it correctly, when the cartridge has an internal top-out spring, you
just grind the peening off the bottom of the stanchion and hammer out whatever is inside?

what about f3 cartridges where the top-out is external like on damping rods?
