Always go with your gut feeling
Last year, I got opportunity to hire a musician for an org event, kindly arranged by Smudge, pretty much for free, well ok beer tokens, pass of the hat etc.
Sadly, people didn't want any music.  Oh how I wish we'd gone with what we felt in our gut........ He was on national tv this morning, as his career takes off considerably  http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/12564921
