They do a simialr one in Fuerterventura where my mum lives, its called back-trax and uses drz400s models. I went out for the day with the owner when I last visited and I'll do the same again this Easter too.

Its seems like a dream job but we chatted quite a lot last time and its a night mare maintaining the bikes as all parts need to be ordered in so unless you stock them yourself you've got a 2-3week wait while a bike can be off the road.
Saying that having one bike off the road wasnt much of a problem, they only run 4 bikes and of those 4 in the 2 weeks i was there only the one I rode and he rode were the ones which moved.. business was VERY slow.

Yeah they're still there, the Yorkshire couple with the little terrier. I dunno if the terrier is still about but I do remember it in the office.
They're taking work pretty much wehre they can get it at the minute. They helped shift a matress for my mum the other week as they're the only English with a van/trailer.

I take it you've been a customer of thiers.

Yeah, I did a day with them a couple of years ago, as I wanted to get out to see the American Star wreck and it's a bit off the beaten track. I was about six months too late to see it above the waterline.

It was my first time offroad, so I was very, very rubbish.

+1 I did it at Easter 2009 I think and it was pretty much gone then.

He'd not long since had the DRz's in stock, did you get to do it on the Huskys or were you around the same time/later than me and on the Suzukis?

Im sure most bikers would give it some thought but if not if anyone who is visiting the island isnt aware of it I can recommend it 100%
All levels accomodated for but be aware Nige used to race motorcross so will be doing stuff infront of you thats proberbly best left admired as opposed to coppied lol. Crashing still hurts even if its on your holiday lol.

I was there in June 2009, so was on a DR-Z.

It was very much a get-on-and-ride day rather than a learning opportunity, so I'd probably get more out of it if I went back again, as I've done an offroad school since then. He had me ride up the side of a hill and I lunched it about 2/3 of the way up. When he got to the top he looked back down and saw me and the bike tumbling back down the hill. Picked up some lovely bruises and destroyed 300 quids worth of specs. I learnt a lot from that (such as "I'm crap at riding off road") but a lot more at the proper offroad school.
